WELCOME to the watercolour world of Marvin Chew.  Marvin paints mainly in semi-realist and impressionistic style.  He loves the play of colours and value contrast in his works, and specialises in landscapes and street scenes.  He is equally adept at studio work and outdoor / plein air painting, having spent hours honing his skills painting on the sidewalks of Chinatown, Little India and many other locations throughout South East Asia especially in Singapore and Malaysia.

For the first time ever Marvin is hosting a virtual exhibition, featuring some of his best  and recent works.  As an artist living and working in Singapore, Marvin has painted various Singapore scenes from old colonial buildings to heritage shophouses and markets.  He also travels back to his hometown in Kuching to paint longhouses, villages and street scenes in Sarawak.

Also included in this exhibition are paintings inspired by his recent travels to Vietnam, Indonesia, England and other countries, capturing the scenes both on location as well as in his studio.
