General

  • All artworks featured in this website are copyrighted by the artist.  Duplication or use of these paintings are strictly prohibited without the artist's written consent.  Copyrights of sold artworks and prints remain the property of the artist. 

  • Images displayed through computer monitor may not accurately represent the actual colours of original artworks due to different individual monitor settings.  However, due care has been taken when photographing all artworks featured in this website to create the best representation of the original artworks.

  • The dark coloured borders that framed the images are only for presentation purposes on this website. There are no borders on the actual paintings and prints.

  • Original paintings are one-of-a-kind artworks, 100% hand-painted by the artist on acid-free watercolour papers, with artist-grade watercolour paints.

  • For purchase of original painting, a Certificate of Authenticity, signed by the artist will be sent together with the painting.

  • Reproduction prints are printed on quality acid-free paper using EPSON Stylus Photo R2400 professional graphics printer.

 

Payment

      

  • We also accept alternative payment methods such as Singapore local cheques (for Singapore buyers only), international money orders and bank drafts. Please e-mail marvin@marvinchew.com if you are using one of these payment methods.

  • For these alternative payment methods, payment must be made within 3 working days of order confirmation.  If the transit time to mail the cheque/money order/bank draft exceed 3 working days, please inform us through e-mail.

  • Your orders will only be delivered upon payment clearance by the bank. It may take several weeks for an international money order/bank draft to be processed and cleared, that is why we strongly advise the use of PayPal to avoid any delay as money is transferred immediately.

 

Shipment, Packaging and Delivery charge

  • Depending on the size, your orders will be carefully packed and sent (without matt and frame), either flat in a padded Postpac envelope or rolled up in a tube as shown in the picture below.

     

  • Packaging and Delivery is charged at a flat fee of US$10.

  • We welcome combined shipment of several items.  Delivery will be free of charge if your total purchases exceed US$500. 

  • All orders will be mailed via Singapore Post Registered Mail within 1-2 working days after receiving full payment.

  • Insurance is optional.  If you choose to insure the paintings/prints, please e-mail marvin@marvinchew.com for further arrangement.

  • A Registered Article Number will be sent to you by e-mail.  You can track the status of your purchase here. (only applicable to buyers from Singapore, Canada, Hong Kong, Ireland, Japan, Rep of Korea, Portugal, Spain and USA.

  • The shipment takes approximately 2 weeks to reach most destinations worldwide.

 

Return Policy

  • We hope you are happy and excited with your purchase.  However, for whatever reason, if the artwork is not up to your expectation, you may return it at your own cost within 14 days of receiving it.

  • We will refund you in full when we receive the artwork undamaged (Note: Delivery charges are non-refundable).
